About this deal

Lilly was super immature and annoying in book one and I thought there would be more of the same here, which was disappointing. But surprisingly, while she does get all vulgar sometimes, she dialed it down A LOT, which was good. She was still her but finally was beginning to realize she should reign it in in public. Stars equals I am buying a physical copy of this book. I will read this book at least 10 more times, it is the best ever.

I received this book for free from the author in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review. Royally Not Ready by Meghan Quinn Austin Lee, the Warriors’ rookie outfielder, finds himself right in the center of a blonde tornado called Molly. Her fiance died, he gave her the time and space to heal, but he always admired her from far away. Never in one million years did he believe he would be bedding the woman of his dreams and planning a future with her in the starring role as his leading lady. The spice in this book was extremely well done with characters who were into the BDSM life. The tension building is beautifully done and this book made it easy for me to say that I would like to read more from Meghan Quinn in the future. Royally Not Ready Book Review

Publication Order of Blue Line Books

Meghan Quinn definitely surprised me with this book! It included her usual comedic relief and many hilarious shenanigans that her characters always find themselves in - but Royally In Trouble was also full of mystery, angst, suspense and drama. I don't want to spoil anything, but there are definitely some heavy themes throughout this book. Desperate to learn more about my mom, I decided to give this princess thing a chance. Good idea, right? Wrong. Royally Not Ready gets 5 stars, 3 peppers, and 1 tissue from me. The happy ending is beautiful and I loved how Meghan tied in previous conversations between our main characters toward the end of the book. The world building was fantastic as well. What really won me over though was the dynamic between the characters that brought laugh out loud moments. Final Thoughts on Royally Not Ready Lilly’s personality and actions are exactly what you wouldn’t expect from a royal. She is witty, sarcastic and has a habit of talking first and thinking second. When she is approached by Keller, and he advises her that she needs to come with him to Torskethorpe to assume the throne. Ever since her parents passed away, she has been feeling alone so she agrees to the trip just so she can meet the family she never knew she had.

I’ll just lay it out there… in my opinion, this is Meghan Quinn’s best work. I thought I loved Royally Not Ready, but with the edition of this next chapter for Keller and Lilly, she legit hit it out of the park. All in all, I’m immediately buying the illustrated hardcover to go on my shelf. And I’m adding this to my top 2023 reads list as well. Fans fell in love with each and every one of the friends in the novel. These characters are so well written that readers felt each tear and all the laughter. Readers enjoyed all the glimpses into the lives of all these characters. Brady and Jane are simply delicious. Fans enjoy all the drama, the hot times, and some irrational and sweet times, with some devastation. Meghan Quinn has given us a grumpy sunshine romance that is filled with laughter, heartbreak, and a beautiful happy ending… or at least for now it’s a happy ending. Royally Not Ready Reading Experience I wish the ending gave us readers more time with Lilly and Keller, it did feel a bit rushed but over all I finished it with content and appreciated the wild royal ride Meghan took us on throughout this book.

There is no way to explain, This burning, merciless feeling, Biting through my bones. It eclipses my thoughts, It burrows into my veins, A cataclysmic force so strong, I can’t breathe. I need you. I broke us. It’s broken” Now I am huge fan of Meghan Quinn, everyone who knows me, knows this. However Royal Romances are really not my jam. So when Royally not ready landed on my e-reader I was curious to see if Meghan could change my mind. Lilly is an amazingly strong FMC for this book. I love her sarcastic and snarky banter with Keller the main MMC of the book. They dynamic between these characters is amazing and it really felt like you knew who each of these characters were.
