About this deal

Unser breites Sortiment umfasst: Ferngläser, Nachtsichtgeräte, Ziel- und Präzisionsoptiken, Überwachungskamers sowie Spektive und Fernrohre.

Currently, the Pirsch ED series consists of five models, all of which have ED glass lens elements and an open bridge roof prism design and range in size from 34mm to these 42mm ones and onto the large 56mm model. They feature two 42mm extra-low dispersion (ED) objective lenses that gather 130% more light than the naked eye, resulting in brighter and more detailed images. I consider anything at or 6ft as being excellent, so these come close, and certainly, the better option should you occasionally like to view things like flowers, butterflies, and other insects from a very close range.I don't have either the Bushnell or the Zen Ray in my possession at the moment but I did own both for extended periods of time.

The Bresser Nautic waterproof binoculars come with a high-quality soft case and a practical neck strap. When placing them side-by-side, the first aspect you notice is that these Bresser Pirsch ED 8x42 binoculars are actually quite a bit shorter than the 56mm option and is actually a little more than what I had expected when scanning over the specifications (I am more of a visual person and often the differences in numbers do not mean a whole lot to me). The quality also extends to the accessories as all models come supplied with a real leather bag as standard.

While discussing the new Celestron M2 Regal spotting scope over in the spotting scope forum I noted a new poster, Optics Camp, who is a fairly local dealer for Celestron. The Noctivids are better but I don't feel the gap between them is big enough to justify another 1000€ extra. The Bresser S-Series 8x42 Binoculars are slim roof prism binoculars that are perfect for on your travels on when you're out in the countryside. If you read his comments in the other thread he mentioned that he was impressed with the level of detail this binocular appears to render. In terms of the design, it looks to me as though Bresser uses exactly the same focus wheels on both models, which makes perfect sense. Quality components are used throughout with fully multi-coated optical elements and BaK-4 prisms that give a sharp and high-contrast image over the full field of view. Meadow pipits, Reed buntings, Greenfinches and even Tundra Bean gees flying overhead where not an obstacle.
