This book and the whole series take the steamy scenes to quite a dark place that could also be triggers or just taken to far for a lot of readers.

Oh it all fits, it all eventually makes sense, but I seemed to have been missing that sense of urgency or need to solve the puzzle, because at times, there wasn’t much of a build-up to some of the reveals. Synthia’s ultimate ambition In life is to keep the world safe and free from the evil, cruel hands of the Fae who prey on all humans for nourishment, feeding off of their life source. So much, that even though I'm sure the author is a really nice lady, she has no clue about where to use a freaking comma. When she is forced to work with the very thing that brings fear and anger to her to the very core of her being, she is tested in ways she never could have imagined.

It’s not just saying you love someone—it’s showing them with every fucking breath you take, every look. The game's generic characters and unoriginal presentation have been panned by critics, but reviewers praise its point system and consider it to be one of the best fighting games on the Nintendo 64. I love her badass and sassy comments and the fact she wears her heart on her sleeve but is loyal to her coven, her family.
