You won't find all the newest releases and limited edition products here--I'm trying to find things that work, whether they're classics or the latest thing. This particular mascara is especially difficult to review, because there's nothing exactly remarkable about it, despite its being one of my favorite mascaras out there. I picked up Jordana Best Lash Extreme this week and so far, it looks promising as a regular mascara! The Full Lash Bloom differs from the other in that it contains Beeswax – I suppose this provides softer feeling lashes as claimed. Honestly, just one coat is probably enough for some people, but I love my lashes to have some height to them, so two coats was the winner for me. Applying both wasn’t the messy affair you might think—the mascara went on smooth like butter and without any of the gloop a lot of other clean mascaras give you. You won’t find me scrubbing them loose with washcloths or wipes, I stick to oil-based removers and I treat them with castor oil regularly. Considering the extremely different ingredients list, these two mascaras actually do perform similarly, though I slightly prefer the non-waterproof option.

The wand's comb-like bristles separate lash hairs as you apply, so there is minimal clumping and every precious lash is defined. I prefer how both of them work about a week or so after I've opened them and they've started to thicken up a bit. I'm wearing two layers of the shade Very Black in the after shot, but the formula also comes in Black, Black Brown, and Brown. Swipe on another coat or two of mascara to add more length and volume if desired, then marvel at your huge lashes!
