Let’s talk specs for the Joro. It comes in a rather natty blue colour and is reasonably similar in design to the Coleman Weathermaster 6XL.

The times have been changin’ in the world of tents in recent years. The old ‘bendy pole technology’ which could sometimes be fiddly to set up for large family tents (not to mention the risk of pole-snapping) is slowly getting superseded by tents using easy-to-inflate air pipes instead. In this article we outline the main considerations to look for when choosing the best inflatable tent to cater for your particular needs. Each of the three bedroom areas of the tent measure 140 x 210cm, and for the rear compartment there is a really useful access hatch to the outside world. This enables an electric hookup cable to be passed through into the tent. In hot climates, this hatch can also promote airflow through the tent which is essential for remaining cool. All the bedroom pods also have mosquito/insect netting. A height for heads – I’m almost 6” tall and with arm stretched, I can just touch the highest point of this tent. If you are on the taller side, this would be a great tent for you. Being able to walk around inside, without having to be constantly crouching over. On the other side, if you are a shorty, you may well struggle to get your lights up on the hanging hooks without something to stand on.

Berghaus have a reputation of making great, high quality outdoor gear. From clothes to climbing gear. They may not be the cheapest, but when you buy a Berghaus product, you know it will accomplish it’s purpose in life with aplomb (whatever a plomb might be!).There are side windows located at the sides of the porch area but there are none across the front wall.
